Hello fellow songwriters,

I have just joined this forum, my name is Olaf, I'm 17, and I hope to exchange songs with you guys and share experiences.

This is the link to my self-written song on ebutuoy:

It has only taken me about 20 minutes to write and compose it, so it's still pretty rough. I might re-record it soon, but I'd love to hear some of your feedback first! :)

Thanks :3

Getting a reply after 10 minutes; I can tell this is indeed a great site!

Thanks very much for your comment, I know I have a lot to work on, but it's encouraging :)

Would you like me to review any of your stuff?

Welcome here Olaf!
Really nice voice, excellent song
Love your chord progression, reminds me Jeff Buckley

A constructive critic : for me, if you record it again, work the regularity of tempo on guitar (difficult for all of us, and myself!) and the fretting of your chords (1:07 - 1:13, 3:10-3:16, 3:32-3:40 for exemple)
The vocals are perfect for me

Agree with oldrottenhead : "great recording despite having no recording gear. you need to ask santa for a micro br or something."
