Hmm... I just listened to the original on YouTube and it seems to be mainly strings, horns and percussion which are acoustic instruments. The idea of UnpluggedFest is to acoustically cover a song that is very electric, such as a heavy metal song or a synth-pop song where distorted guitars and/or synthesizers are very prominent. You can't unplug a song that was never plugged-in in the first place. Sure, there's a bit of clean funky electric guitar in the original and a short synth or guitar solo in the middle but these aren't prominent parts so it doesn't strike me as a very electric song. Like I said, the main instruments in the original seem to be strings, horns and percussion. Wikipedia confirms it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don%27t_Stop_Till_You_Get_Enough#Personnel

Some disco songs will no doubt qualify for UnpluggedFest if covered acoustically, but not all. So, please folks, if you want to do a song that qualifies for both fests then please choose a disco song that is prominently electric and cover it acoustically.

Sorry Hook. I didn't mean to put a downer on your fine song. But I think it's important to clarify what's expected for UnpluggedFest before everyone starts submitting all of their disco songs to both fests. Remember, it can only be unplugged if it was electric in the first place. Minor electric parts such as bass guitar or rhythm guitar don't count unless they're a prominent feature of the song.

On phone, 64 you are correct, the production must have fooled me into a false sense of pluggedinness. I concede to your wisdom and beg everyones forgiveness for the false fest claim :'( I will miss that fine double banner though.
Fest on!

Wow, this is very cool, and you even got up to them MJ high notes during the intro.

Love the whole vibe of this, such a unique twist on the original, and done as only you can.
