player issue or browser problem ?

Something odd with the player for the new fests ?

Of the 4 songs in disco and unplugged only Gnastys "all night thing" will play for me.
All the older fests seem OK.

For the songs that won't play I see a -1:0-1 besides the volume bar where the play time should be, and the download bar never moves.

Update it does let me hit download and play the file locally.

Hi peterp,

It's a bug in the current version of the Adobe Flash player. Until a fix is issued, you could downgrade your Flash player version, but I have a feeling a fix is coming soon and downgrading may no longer be worth the effort.


Until then, you can download the mp3 directly, and then play it - but it does raise havoc with our jukeboxes (and the player widget itself) until Adobe issues a fix to the Flash player.

Ah that could be it!

I tried all the browsers I have loaded on my system and

It won't work in Firefox 16.0.2 and Safari 5.1.7
It does play correctly in Chrome Version 22.0.1229.94m and IE 9.0.10

For Flash I have version 11,4,402,287 installed

Best option may be to use Chrome, then you can also play plants vs zombies in your browser window!

Right you are...I recall now that's mentioned in the thread somewhere...IE9 and Chrome are strangely immune.
