Just knocked out the first verse and chorus (+1 extra bar! Sorry) of Jovi's Wanted Dead Or Alive.

This is the first time I've ever used the on board mic for any recording.

Vintage V300 Acoustic - There should be a VEC500-12 String Vintage Electro-Acoustic on its way to me next week.

I have company at home so I can't belt out the lyrics like I usually would.

Tuned down one full step.

RUSS!!!

Great JOB! I would love to try the vocals out on this one. Any chance you can re post?
Why don't we do it on the road?

How different... I like it!

Has a WHOLE different feel tuned down (and slowed down maybe?), the vocal job is unique in how it's done, and really adds a dimension to this. Different, but very cool.

I recorded it at 75bpm, I'm not sure what the original is.

It will problem have to wait until tomorrow before I upload one without any vox.

This really works well done in this way. The guitar is just great - lovely playing and tone, and I much prefer hearing your subtle vocal vesus Jon Bon Jovi's over-the-top screeching, lol.

Now, it sounds great on a 6 string... but with a 12-string??? You have to re-do this when your new guitar arrives. It'll need playing-in after all...  :D

Excellent

Here it is without the vox. Listening back to it I've just realised my timing isn't great.

Out of all my purchases this 12-String is the one I'm most looking forward to! It's been a while since I bought a new guitar.

Thank you for all of your comments. Quite encouraging and I look forward to posting here more often.

Guitar work really does sound fantastic with headphones (finally can really sit and listen at home).
