These days that's about all you need. Dedicated space is the main thing...and knowing how to use what you have. I'm still working on that piece...

What model is your Taylor? What are the back/sides made from and how do you rate the tone?

Yep just the basics. It's a Taylor 214ce. I think it's spruce with laminate back and sides. I'm not really sure. As for tone, I love them all. It bums me out that these instruments are mass produced as in like a production line. Something sounds so good to me, I would have like to have been handcrafted. Just like the luther craft was taken out of it.

Here's my current setup... it needs a lot of TLC!
Thinking of selling my console record player, since I never use it. Then I could get a nice desk to replace it and put all my keyboards, BR600, etc. on it, with space for my computer, too. Most of my other gear (theramin, keyboards, drum machine) is in the closet, but makes an occasional appearance on the "studio" floor.
