Kicks ass right from the opening bass, this is superbly done, you can really feel the energy through the song. Great job!

Cheers I have to admit to a penchant for putting the bass up front. The 1st instrument I learnt to play was the bass, so I guess it stems from that.
Quote from: oldrottenhead on October 13, 2012, 01:17:29 PMi was toying with doing this on the uke but gave up.
Noooo don't ever give up. I'm sure you'd do it justice
Quote from: 64Guitars on October 13, 2012, 02:24:59 PMAwesome cover of a great song!

Quote from: Gritter on October 13, 2012, 03:11:41 PMOne of my favourite tunes of all time.
One of mine too ... Thanks for the comments

I'm much happier with the remix. Thanks for the comment
Quote from: Speed Demon on October 13, 2012, 05:24:38 PMNothing at all wrong with this song. Sounds very good to me.
As above, but glad you enjoyed the 1st take too. Thanks
Quote from: Hook on October 14, 2012, 04:48:27 AMI love this tune and think you did a great job, the music is right on & your vocal is rockin!
Cheers. I had to wait until our house was empty, then locked myself into our spare toilet, with the trusty BR600 on batteries, so I could wail away to my hearts content!!
Quote from: kenny mac on October 14, 2012, 07:15:31 AMI used to play it regularly live on the old pub/club scene, good stuff, well done.
Love to hear that, bet it rocked
Quote from: Vaisvil on October 14, 2012, 07:51:21 AMamazing sound you got out of that BR
I gotta say, it does the job mighty fine. Keep wondering whether to look at a BR800, but will have to save my pennies. Meanwhile the 600 keeps dishing it out.
Quote from: DeificDave on October 15, 2012, 12:50:49 PMyou can really feel the energy through the song. Great job!
Thanks. Energy is probably the thing I'm best at. I'm not the greatest musician, so I mix in a spot of adrenalin ... which seems to help!!
Quote from: DannyB_KY on October 15, 2012, 03:38:35 PMReally digging it!! Good job!!!
Cheers, glad you liked it
Quote from: Hilary on October 15, 2012, 04:38:58 PMoh this is just fab-u-lous - spot on!
Haylie ... And so are you. If only I had your voice :)

Talking Heads are one of my favourite bands , you were brave to take this on , not many would , so I'm pleased that you did such a good job with your cover , & in fact added a little something that wasn't there on the original , absolutely fabulous , well done mate
