Hey oldrottenhead, I was hoping you could put some vocals on this using that "Tuned To The Moon" voice. If you could do it as a separate track I could mix it into the guitars better.

Or if anyone has a vocal that's anything but American....

Here's a version without the guitars, just drums, ukulele and bass. Please anyone feel free to add something. Separate tracks always work best for mixing in.

great stuff mr scar, will get to work on a vocal asap. afraid its not gonna be scottish tho, music reminds me of tom waits circa raindogs and franks wild years, so looks as if its leading to a slight tom waits impersonation i will post what i can come up with and try not to shred my throat in the process.


here it is, now called cornfields, is very dark lyrics and let me add they are not autobiographical, had to record the vocal a verse at a time cos it was so hard to sing in the style of tom waits so there might be a few clicks as i drop in, it all came very quickly about 15 minutes in total so i might redo it with slight variations to the lyric/vocal when my throat heals. i feel as if i have eaten a bag of broken glass and razor blades.

bin listening to it and not too happy so i will do it again this time using the br software to load it up. might need guidance tho.

the song isnt out of sync, my recording starts at a different point from mr scars, so he cant sync my br version with his br version unless he loads it to cubase or somesuch.
