Here the last song I wrote.
Les ombres dansent sur les fleurs
Où la clarté doucement meure :
Elles laissent des joies obscures
Dont les anges blonds n'ont cure

Quel magnifique entre-deux
Lorsqu'enfin brûlent les feux :
Aurore et crépuscule
Rien ne bouge et tout bascule...

Mais pourquoi serais-je perdu
Une fois la nuit venue ?
Oh, les esprits taquins
Me montreront bien un chemin !

Oh very lovely . . . I'm on my second listen and still can't make out what's going on. A very poetic tale of love lost, maybe? Anyways, it sounds beautiful.

Hi oldrottenhead and Haylie, thank you!

For James, not the last one! Just the most recent ;-)

For Haylie, it's my poem spoken on music...

This song speaks about this passing state, about this fascinating period between night and day for twilight, and between day and at night for the dawn...
Perhaps this significance can be right in the case of love... this moment just before the end of love or just after the meeting of two persons just about to fall in love...

I made before this version another version, more spontaneous (made in ten minutes).
Please, tell me wich one you prefer, and why!

Thanks for the translation Jean-Sébastien, I'd have been there all night trying to work it out! I prefer the first one, seems a bit more tragic/dramatic the second one seems a bit rushed IMHO.

Lovely interplay between the two guitar parts, very atmospheric, reminds me of those dark and brooding French films.
Great stuff.
