Erm, well I was messing with tunings again (double drop D) and began learning 'The Chain' but the riff ended up being this song. I know its been done recently, I think by Andy Casson?..........I'll have to check that!

All acoustic/Resonator/Electric/quiet keyboard done through GR-55.

I'm most pleased with the Bass, I seem to be getting the hang of recording bass. Too much compression on vocals I think.

Great job. Seems like you're enjoying that GR-55. I'd love to get one myself. Only two problems: 1) I'm skint. 2) I don't like floor-based guitar products. They should make it available as a 2-piece system. One box for the footswitches and pedal, and a separate control box for the electronics, display, and all the hand-operated switches and knobs. Then I could put the control box on a table where I can see it and operate the controls. It's no good to me having all that stuff on the floor.

I love playing around with alternate tunings. You really caught a good version here.  I think the vocal sounds really good from here.

You nailed this one!  Nice job!  Double drop D is one of my fav tunings.  Use it a lot capo'd up the neck as well and fun to write with.  I think your mix is great, everything clean, well placed and played.  Enjoyed it!
"Play because you love it. Don't worry about if it will ever make any money, just understand that playing is an end in itself, and you play music, it will make your life better. And, don't worry about being a star, don't worry about making money, worry about nothing, just sit down with your guitar and let it speak to you and that will make your life better. It will bring beauty into your life. It's a great thing to do."     ---- David Crosby
