Hi all,

Just got my Micro BR and wondered if you can plug a line out from an amp into the guitar in? Will it do any damage?
Can you link in line with pod?
Thanks for having a forum on this great bit of kit.

MBR works with guitar plugged straight into it or from your amp's line out (or headphone) into line in or from amp's line out into the guitar input.

You can use the ipod as a source input through line in. I'd suggest recording the ipod output as tracks 1 and 2. Then you can play along on channel 3... or record on channel 3. You can also use the MBR as an MP3 player, or as a trainer (slow down MP3's, and even remove center channel (vocals)).

Thanks for that ;D Almost gave way to temptation anyway. Its a pity the manual doesnt explain the various ways of input / output connections.

Cheers again ;D Mik

So, by the same rational we should be safe plugging the BR into an AMP via the headphone output?

You can go from amp line out or headphone out into MBR guitar in or line in.  I find that going into MBR line in workd better as it is designed for a higher signal than guitar in.  Either way works, I like to go line in from my amp.

Going from guitar into MBR, headphones out of MBR into an amp works awsome, it becomes a really great guitar effects unit, just resist the urge to stomp on it. :D.  There are soo many ways to use this gadet.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places
