"Another Planet" a Hook original

Been completely swamped with work the past few weeks, but able to sneak a little recording time in here and there. This was recorded entirely in my car with the mbr. The rain was recorded on my dashboard in a pretty good down pour, on a whim a few weeks ago. I thought I might be able to use a good rain track. the stand u bass and cello are thumbjam. I'll be playing catch up on everyone's tracks this weekend.

Now I'm older & it's not the rain we fear
But a lot of smart people think it might be
      Getting a tad bit warm here

       To have to travel past the clouds and our beautiful blue sky
       Into the stars, off to colonize
       Hope to find a place that supports life
       With a little luck maybe this time we'll do things right

Have been saving my 1000'th post for something special - and this is it!

Love the sound of the rain, reminds me of sitting in Publix's car far, waiting for the rain to pass in my many trips to FL - magic. I love the warm rain in FL - I went to Thorpe park on Sunday - I haven't been that wet (or cold) in ages.

Lovely sounds, the uke sounds wonderful - great lyrics and vox bro. Fabulous.
