Hello!

Here's the live video by Haltia (elf in English). Haltia, that's the name of our duo (Päivi and me).
I pushed the recording buttons on both on my camcorder and MicroBR and then tried to synch the music track on the right spot. The video was recorded on last Saturday in the front of my cabin. Here we go...a version of the old tune of mine. I played cheap and very old (35 years) classical guitar on the track - my first guitar indeed :) Thanks for listening and watching.

I've watched this with fascination 3 times already. There's something special about this one. Very nice chord-changes and tho it's pretty simple and repetitive it's something quite hypnotic about it.

Great performance from the both of you.

P.S. Dived down to find the original, and I must say Kari, you must be one of the most patient songcrafters in history. Almost a year it took from you first posted it until the first comment came !!

Thanks for Bluesberry, it was very significant comment! I remember the original stayed for months on the first page in the year 2008.

Wow! I can't believe it took a year to get a comment. It just goes to show that even the best songs can go unnoticed. So people shouldn't get too discouraged if they don't get many replies to their posts; especially new members. There can be many reasons why posts go unnoticed. It doesn't necessarily mean that people don't like the song. If a song this good can go unnoticed for a year, then it can happen to any song. I think songs by new members are the most likely to go unnoticed. When the site's really active and we're pressed for time, we tend to listen to the songs posted by members we know and admire, and overlook the songs posted by newer members who we don't yet know very well. So newer members should be patient and not get too discouraged. And if your songs don't get any comments, remember that the On This Day and Overlooked Gems jukeboxes can give them a second chance, so they still might get some comments eventually.

Well done, Kari. And Päivi has a lovely voice. Very enjoyable song.

Wonderful Kari, the live recording you captured through the Micro BR is very impressive.

Loving the chord progressions, and the vocal is so pure.

Superbly crafted song and a fitting place to record a live version of it.
