back home from norway and back to reality but still on a high from my wonderful weekend with geir and jarle.

the original version https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=16388.0 was recorded on the shoreline at geir's hut with the wind and waves.

this version was recorded in the living room with no norwegian ambience but the memories of norway still fresh.

for geir and jarle.

On Norwegian shores
Neath the autumn sky
Sitting by the water's edge
Counting bees and flies
I'll soon be going home again
I'll be saying goodbye to my friends
On Norwegian shores
The sunlight bright
See a million stars
When the day turns night
I'll soon be going home again
I'm  saying goodbye to my friends
When i have the chance
I'll do it all over again
When i have the chance
On Norwegian shores
 On Norwegian shores
The sunlight bright
See a million stars
When the day turns night

Magic!! Loved the both versions. You've captured the feel of the sea shore and the nature - a great source of creativity. Some of my songs has been written by the shore - watching the waves etc... These songs on their best on jimimalism/minimalism versions :) :) :).

ORH - very nice track - listen to the second version (couldn't listen to the original as ongoing issues with the player), great way to start the morning. Chorus has seemingly become quite out of fashion, but you tend to forget that it gives you a wonderfully airy and open sound.
