So, continuing my obsession with the Buzzcocks' Spiral Scratch EP, I've made this instrumental medly of the four songs.

I should confess that the piano part was made using an Android ap, called ChordBot. I programmed the chords into it and selected a suitable style.  The faultering guitar melody part added over the top of it is my own.

The idea which emerged while playing around with this was for a kind of overture / curtain raiser for the four songs.

There's another version which I may post using a much cheesier style, which I may post separately.

Some really cool chord-changes in there and the guitarwork that follows it are really good.

Really cool...

Good piano playing and guitar playing...

As said previously, "some nice chord changes"...

Just a critic : for me, the guitar could be higher in the mix and the piano lower...

Great song!

Thanks Jean-Sébastien, but I can't really claim credit for the piano.  I just programmed the chord sequences into Chordbot and hit play...

It's that old thing that the guitar and piano parts sit in the same frequency-space so turning up the guitar just obscures the piano.  If I'd played the guitar an octave higher it would probably have been alright.  Couldn't get my head around that though.  I wanted the piano to be the star, with the guitar just picking out the melody.  Thanks for the feedback though, I appreciate it.
