This was my first gig recording using my new Zoom Q3HD Handy recorder , The Zombies 50th anniversary at the Boom Boom Club , Sutton , Surrey , UK , featuring Rod Argent on keyboard , and Colin Bluntstone on vocals , got to say they were excellent , you might hear a female voice every now and again , that was my daughter , she is a hardened festival and gig person , this was a first for her , watching a 50 year old band , she loved it .
Sorry about the shakes , i think after 7 pints it just gets harder to hold it still ( i will buy a monopod for the next gig ), the sound is excellent i think considering the noise levels , tell me what your thoughts are
By the way Rod Argent was amazing on the keyboard
Try and watch it in HD on cans

oh yeah, had this album when i was a teen, loved this one, but the one of theirs i loved best was an instrumental track called "the coming of kahutek" i think that was the name.

i think i need to get one of those vid recorders. one of my mates has a stand up gig needing filmed for promoters to use. but my current camera isnt up to it without good light.

and the band members are a bloody lot older than 50 years old hahaha. magic.

Great job of capturing the Argent gig Rob! I have a friend that uses his Zoom Q3HD Handy recorder quite often with excellent results. I think Zoom has a winner with the Q3. I'm surprised they let you record the gig. In my area they make you shut them off or you'll have to leave the gig. Ron Argent is a monster on the keys!

You are not wrong about Ron Argent Farrell , he is amazing , but funnily enough , the Boom Boom Club is about 10 miles from my place & they have a great mix of tribute & good old bands still going strong , no one ever minds me filming , off to see Albert Collins Sunday night , should be very good
