hey dude!!
Sounds cooler again!!
I'll give ya a couple of pointers.. so i can help ya with the drums. -
Before you record anything, Press "RHYTHM"...
Now Press "- VALUE" until you get to pattern 314 METRO4/4....
Now Press " TR1" to turn it on.. Press "EXIT" to go back to main screen....
Now when u press play, u'll hear the metronome playing... as long as you start the recording on the bell (beat 1 of the bar) its easy to auto punch/cut/paste/etc. and to add drums later
U can adjust the tempo from the main screen (top right)..
Once ur happy with the tempo record ur stuff.

PLEASE NOTE!!! Write down the tempo u have recorded at!!!! Cause when u turn the BR off and back on the tempo will change back to 120 until u have actually done a drum arrangement and saved it...

I can then do a simple drum arrangement for u and use it as a guide to doin ur own drums! Then u'll be drooling over how good the little BR really is

ANOTHER NOTE!! when bouncing or mastering, what ever is happening in the mix is what is recorded to ur bounced track/s.. Track- levels/reverb/panning and the rhythm!!!
so turn off rhythm before bouncing..
If u do a bounce with reverb. Leave ur new bounced track at 0 Reverb, 100 Volume and it will sound the same as when u bounced.

Reverb and delay are the icing of the cake (Try to do them last)
U can even go to the extent of recording everything "Dry" (No effects at all, Clean guitar). Then u can sit back and play with ur distortion and effects on the fly at the end.

Hope this helps..
Keep it Phat 'n' Tasty

GM...  Lol.... cool, glad you like it. I am liking the second part big time too. Though this riff/song took an interesting turn last night. (I'm doing another post on this). Don't know that you'll like it tho... not quite as 80's metal.

Hewhoiscalledj... Hey thanks for posting in!

Greeny...  Thanks to you too. Lol, I have no idea how the Doc Who theme goes, but I'll take your word for it  ;) I do hope people enjoy what I'm doing, thanks man.

Blues... As with Greeny, thanks. I personally REALLY enjoy all the different styles. It would get boring if we were all the same. Still.... eventually I'd like to collaborate... so hopefully some other metalheads will appear  :)

Rev....  You are AWESOME. Yes, thanks... I will take all the pointers I can get. I understand what you're saying totally. I was looking at the manual last night trying to figure out how to turn on the metronome (that I figured out doesn't exist). So for the first time I tried the rhythm part of the MBR. I tried to pick a drum loop that would fit and just could not get a feel of the tempo for my recording. So anyway as a loop played over it I kinda "heard" something else, and well..... went in a total different direction with this whole thing.

I'm going to do another post about this as I think I have only one more attachment (sound file) available in this thread and what I did last night is just a beginning of a new direction for this riff.

I may still work with this as it sounds in this thread (and try what you are saying). As a matter of fact I will, but at the moment I'm all over the new sound of this.

A side note... I was incorrect. It was not adding reverb on me on the above track. I had mastered the basic (orginal) riff section, and when I mastered this last post I grabbed the 1st mastered v-track (v8) instead of the working copy on v1. So that part is double-mastered, giving the poor quality.
