a very rough recording, i wish i could play the guitar.

recorded live in the living room using the onboard mic on my microbr, it was a nightmare to record so hats of to those guys that do it this way.

wrote this in a hurry and got it down before i forgot it, and will at some later point try to do a more polished version and arrangement.

oh and the lyrics are most certainly not autbiographical.

i had my five minutes of fame
i want it all over again
the way it used to be
i find it really difficult
being so invisible
i want the spotlight on
i'll sign up for big brother
my face back on the cover
the rolling stone and NME
they'll all come back to see me
i won't be off the tv
saturation coverage
in my day i was a face
found myself in the right place
at the right time
burning up the stratosphere
running naked down the street
back to the bottom of the heap
i'll sign up for big brother
my face back on the cover
the rolling stone and NME
they'll all come back to see me
i won't be off the tv

This is how I like your tunes, your guitar just sounds magic, but it,s the vox and the lyrics that do the biz, some of your most produced tunes are excellent, but this just does it for me, fantastic!!!!!

Nice one! You still get your vox effect in the live takes. This is something Gord Downie would come up with.

Me likes a lot!

not on the br80? is my favourite setting. i use the above description for recording acoustic guitar, ukelele and vocals all the time. i set up two tracks to record to, panned full left and right, then edit fornylon setting by turning NS (noise suppresion) and tap delay on, then save settings, so i can access it quickly for the next song.
