NO STAIRWAY!!

;D

Sorry but this is really only a demo of the GR-55, I didn't spend any serious time on arrangment, correct chords even and the vox aint RP or even in key.

Also note not full tune!!

It does however scratch the surface of what my new Roland GR-55 is capable of, everything bar vocals is done on it.

What - no drums?  :)  Seriously, though, it sounds great. I love the 12-string sound. That's something I wish I had because I don't own a 12-string guitar and the BR-864 doesn't have any way to simulate one.

The reason I mentioned drums is because that was one of the many things that impressed me about the AXON AX-100 Mk II. I really wanted to get one of those but, unfortunately, they stopped making it. It had drum sounds built-in and many ways of splitting the guitar into different play zones:

Check out this video starting at 1:30 for the drum sounds. Pretty cool!

I noticed in the GR-55 manual that it includes some drum and percussion tones (884-910). What's it like playing drums on a guitar? Easier than programming the BR's drum machine?

True. The 8str bass simulator is amazing though. Already put THAT to use.

64 - I've not worked my way to the drums yet but hoping to use some percussion sounds on my 'spacefest entry'. Not sure the tracking I get is as good as this demo but set up is tricky to get right, some sounds require adjustment to work right.
There is 900 'tones' on the GR-55 so lots still to check out, it does record well, plenty of volume and little EQing needed to get the sound right.

Glad you noticed the acoustic sounds, they are really good, the 12 string variations can be added to any guitar simulation.

Well for this I used a Yamaha Pacifica for everything, it kind of doesn't matter about the guitar so long as you can fit the GK-3 pick-up. I couldn't fit one to my Tele without making mods so got the Pacifica.
