I wrote this song called IT'S YOUR LIFE and need some soft slow gental music like a piano to go with it can anyone help me

Your life is what you make it
And no one can replace it
So keep on following your dreams
So hold on tight it might be a bumpy ride
I know you'll get through and they will too

Just take a deep breath
And don't forget
That it will be fine
If you listen to your mind
Do what you like
Spread your wings and fly
And in time
You might not need to hide

If you don't think you'll succeed
Try and day dream
Be who you wanna be
Find the right key
Don't be afraid
To open the door
 To see what you want
What's in store

chrous

It's your life
Pause, rewind or play
 It's your life
Every single day

It's your life
Pause, rewind or play
 It's your life
Every single day

It's like a puzzle
It's not complete
 Until you find
The final piece
Then when you find it
Your heart will beat
You'll move your feet
 In the street

Reach high for the stars
Open up your heart
Listen to the music
It will make you want to dance
Feel the rhythm in side you
Let it shine right through
Open up the window
And look at the view

Even if the sun don't shine
Or the sky aint blue
Keep that picture in your mind
And the light will shine you through

chrous

It's your life
Pause, rewind or play
 It's your life
Every single day

It's your life
Pause, rewind or play
 It's your life
Every single day

Hi spongebobmusic, welcome. Very positive, uplifting lyrics but it might take more than an hour to get a response. Many of us write our own lyrics and are in the midst of projects either starting new festival songs or finishing up some late entries. You also specifically asked for piano and perhaps no piano players have logged on today. You might want to repost in the collaboration board, this board is intended for finished original recordings and some members might not look in here for a collaboration opportunity. Give it a few days, listen to some member posts and perhaps you'll find someone who's style is what your looking for then send them a PM introducing yourself. It's a pretty friendly bunch here, have patience and someone will probably bite.
Good luck & Rock On!

Dude you basically wrote a poem. A song will be music.. with or without lyric, consisting of a lyrical or at the very least a musical melody. You are asking for someone to write a song to your poem. Which if you wrote songs you would know is next to impossible without a lot of tweaking lyrically and melodically both. If you are serious about someone adding to and working with this at the very least I would record your lyrics sung out in whatever lyrical melody you are thinking of to at least point it in a direction. Otherwise you are not asking for "background" music, you are asking for someone to turn your poem into a song. Got nothing against being creative, but you need more than words, especially when shocked why no one has jumped to help.

A poem still requires meter. Same as music.

Free-form poetry can have background music that fits the mood but not necessarily the time and tempo.

Like an army, they need to march in step or organized chaos will result.

This is well said.
A song is music.. often with words, not the other way around.
There are several parts to a song and the words are only one part and often not the place to start.
They do help set the tone (happy, sad, angry). but you do need a melody and a rhythm and hopefully a hook.
Then we can start adding chords, instrumentation, editing and arrangements. Then comes the recording, mixing and mastering. There's a lot to it.
Good luck tho. It does help to collaborate.
