Hey ORH I agree with all the comments about this being a good song. Honestly the mix mistakes didn't bother me or I just didn't notice them...either way it's a good song and a good listen!

totally glad that Kenny Mac decided to cover this.... I listened to his first...

it's almost easy to forget these are the same song...it's really like 2 different songs...

this reminds me a ton of a band I really liked alot called the Flock of Seagulls....they had a 80's synth and guitar and tech sound that I thought was fab...

your song here Jim is amazing to me...glad I got to hear it...the ride cymbals send this to another level for me...

ain't a damn thng wrong with this.... put it on the radio now...as is.  especially like the backing vox

Excellent song, very much an art rock sheen to the original (coming here from Kenny's cover). I love the ethereal organ and the vocals are awesome as well, great ending to the track as well. What a lyric...

Wooo - never heard this one before.

Yeah, it's fab. No, really SERIOUSLY fab.
Yeah, Flock of Seagulls possibly (I saw them, we didn't like the haircuts and they seemed a bit, er, dunno... but we reckoned the gig was good, we enjoyed it, and they were a bit like Hawkwind with funny hairdos... Depeche Mode on the other hand... )

Back to this, though: I know we didn't have MBRs in the 80s (Just IMAGINE if we did!!), BUT... if you'd got this recording to some scout or money dude in 1980 or so - you'd have been signed and on your way.

Brilliant.

Off to check out Kenny's cover now - don't let me down Kenny! ;D

EDIT: You didn't! holy sh1t... :)
