A Rayon Vert prog/classic rock original - Lorena

Lorena is one of my all time favorites from Rayon Vert. The group consisted of: DrC - keyboards, drum programming and production. Gary Carciello - guitars. Rob Grant - bass. Farrell Jackson - production ideas, lyric, melody, and all vocals.

It's a blend of classic and progressive rock written by DrC and Farrell Jackson.

I was liking the mix, vibe, everything.... and then the first chorus started... it's got a SUPERB chorus as well!

And then the journey after the second chorus... bliss

And the breakdown after third verse, and how it builds back up (wunnerful and tasteful guitar solo) to the last chorus.

Even the fade is perfect

What's not to like about this one?

Thanks Andy! The thing I liked about Rayon Vert is that it pushed us all to do our very best performances. We are all solo artists and I've heard each members solo projects and production (including myself). In my opinion they don't compare to the combined effort of the group as a whole. We have taken a non determined break so the songs I'm posting the links to are songs that have been completed but are newly mastered. I'm still in contact with the other members and have sensed a longing for some new RV songs. So who knows?
