tuned my cheapo westfield strat copy to orkney tuning (CGDGCD also known as  Shifted DADGAD or  Gsus4 with C bass) and snapped the skinny string. but recorded the guitar anyway, was surprised to find that when  i recorded the guitar without lyrics and only a vague memory of them, that i recorded the correct amount of bars. just two chords ad nauseum.

then i added c major on the juno and sang.

one of my fave songs by one of my fave bands hope i haven't murdered it.

I'm not familiar with any of Joy Division's songs so I can't say how this measures up to the original. But I like what I hear. The vocals are excellent and that guitar tuning sounds cool.

Great ambient version!!! I like the vox delay, the keys and the guitar sounds like a single instrument, like guitar with reverb and pitch shifters, very good!!!!!

Saludos!!!!

I remember the original, but I'm really enjoying the orh version! You've given it a more hypnotic & ambient sheen. Me likes!

I'm agreeing with the general concensus here. I am a Joy Division fan and I like the way you made this your own.

Very cool.  I like the original... but this cover is actually quite original.  Great work with the overlapping vocals.
