Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah

Innocent games in the neighbourhood
You know the reason why
Television showed him how
A toy gun at his side
Johnny's good and Billy's bad
Tomorrow it's not the same
Switching roles every day
Their toy guns soon will change

Hand guns    kill people
Hand guns    must be banned
Your sons, they learn quite early
With your weapons of destruction

Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah

Where once a fertile forest stood
A guided missile stands
They say it guarantees our peace
With your fellow man  (I just don't understand)

You ask me for direction
I look at history
Millions killed and no one takes
Responsibility

Hand guns    kill people
Hand guns    must be banned
Your sons, they learn quite early
With your weapons of destruction

Hand guns    kill people
Hand guns    must be banned
Your sons, they learn quite early
With your weapons of destruction

Love this sound, nice and clear and lovely guitars.
I love the way the snare almost sounds like a gun crack, and of course lets not forget its important message.

Great job putting this one together.  The harmonies at the 'ahhhhhh' parts and the guitar break are certainly remeniscent of that West Coast/Spirit/Randy California sound (love it!)

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Ahhhhhh...in the true Spirit of Randy California. The drums are outstanding 64! The snare sound and the rolls/fills are perfect. Stellar vocal work also ORH!

Very well done guys! Great job on the music and vocals. You both should be proud of this one.
I'm not familiar with the original (thought "Randy California" was a wrestler), but this sounds really good to me.

What did you use for the drums 64?
It ain't pretty being easy.

Okay to Cover

I`m guessing those are the Hydrogen drums? They sound freaking awesome. Great Production 64 and i love your lead guitar. Crisp and clear and Jim those vox are stellar!

Don`t know the original either. Those wrestlers are great musicians! :D
