i am quite sad about that, i was about 7 when his song was a hit, i can remember the wonderful hot summer we had, soundtrack to our lives and all that.

"San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair)" is the only song of his that I know, although I just read that he was a co-writer on the Beach Boys hit "Kokomo". He's been a respected musician for a long time, so I'm sure he's written plenty of other good songs. Must have a look for them.

My older brother neil loved that song, said it reminded him of summer all those years ago,songs etch a moment of time in your head and when you hear them you remember what you were doing at that precise moment.
