i am quite sad about that, i was about 7 when his song was a hit, i can remember the wonderful hot summer we had, soundtrack to our lives and all that. :(

"San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair)" is the only song of his that I know, although I just read that he was a co-writer on the Beach Boys hit "Kokomo". He's been a respected musician for a long time, so I'm sure he's written plenty of other good songs. Must have a look for them.

My older brother neil loved that song, said it reminded him of summer all those years ago,songs etch a moment of time in your head and when you hear them you remember what you were doing at that precise moment.
