On the face of it ,the lyrics sound mad but it was a mad night.This is a true story when I was out gigging  one night at a caravan park of all places and the guy kept asking us to turn down,to the point where the kids  were running around the floor and you could hear them above the band,NIGHTMARE, until the end of the night after possibly one of the worst gigs of my life the guy proceeds to tell us we were good and the beers on him.
He took out empty un-used cartons and filled them with beer one after the other which we took smiling   to the transit van for the journey home. somebody had giving us a large baseball cap with an elephants head on it and you could move the ears by pulling two strings on it lol.
By the time we got to my house my friend davy fell out the back with this elephants head on.
As the lyrics go,And we all climbed into the transit by the lamplight but its just started ,,,cause we,re all getting ready to party,     ROCK,N ROLL.

Great song love the guitars and great vocal too ....it has caught the part spirit .....great back story ...loved it..now of course I want an elephant hat with ears that move....
