You can't beat a good read, recently on holiday i read the iain banks novel transition.  The song is not about the book but about how a good writer can get inside your head and place his thoughts and imaginations in yours.

Also i have been looking at alternate guitar tunings, for this i used open b tuning on my encore acoustic, tuning is f# b d# f b d#. Recorded, live in the living room. In my usual amateurish style.
I cast my eyes
Across the page
The black against
The whitened space
The writer's world
Is shared with mine
Another's place
Another's time
The story told
In written form
Inside my head
Another's world
It captures me
And takes me off
Into the thoughts
Of someone else
I turn the page
Digest the words
I think i understand
The writer's thoughts
The writer's thoughts
The chapter done
I put it down
And contemplate
What's still to come
The beginning middle
And the end
I want to live it
All again
I turn the page
Digest the words
I think i understand
The writer's thoughts
The writer's thought s

I dig it man, cool, chill vibe and excellent lyrics & a great performance. Your amateurish style is so complete of character & rich in quality that it can hardly be considered amateur!
Rock On!
