I think it would have to be A Gibson L.P. classic in Ebony, its nearest to black that I can see.  Probably about £1500.

Keep on Strumming

Eddy.

Neither. I would give all the money to the devil in exchange to play like wichita and sing like greeny.
Why don't we do it on the road?

Tony

I like that answer.  I would give a lot to be able to sing and play well.  The play well just needs more practice time but the singing, well, I think that's comes factory fitted or not at all.

Bro

Thats easy! A Gibson ES-335 dot plain red! Jesus i love that guitar..
Been wanting that thing since i first saw b.b. king!
If you loose track over a chord progression, play as fast as you possibly can. Nobody will know. Thats how they invented bebop.

I would get a 35 second guitar lesson from David Gilmour

Quote from: wiley on January 30, 2009, 07:23:51 PMI have a gibson les paul bass bought back in the middle 70's are they worht much?   LIsted at 900 us dollars back then.

Here's a 1973 for $1,750.00:

And here's a 1971, although no price is shown:

I think Gibson basses are under-rated. I have a 1962 EB0 which I just love. Looks like it was a good investment too. I bought it in 1970 for $150.

I'd never sell it though.
