This is a cover of Thareks fabulous song - While the Sun Shines.

We started this more or less at the beginning of the Cover Fest which we have missed by a mile and a half. So we are posting this now and hoping that 64G will indulge us and add it to the correct fest (very belatedly)

We all agreed that if we were to cover a song, it would have to be one of T's simply because he's a fantastic songwriter and nothing to do with the fact that he is a Good Egg and All Round Sound Guy.

Tharek, this one is for you buddy, if you like it you know what we drink, if you hate it, you know where we are.

Much love form the JK guys. Keep smilling while the rain starts.

We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different

You're the boss. :)  Happy to oblige.

I don't have time to listen properly at the moment but I will in a couple of hours.

By the way, a belated congratulations on reaching the 4K milestone. I noticed when you were getting close to 4,000 posts but somehow missed it when you actually got there.

This is absolutely jaw droppin.

You're so right about Tharek's songwriting... off the charts.

You guys are a bunch of wizards just working your magic.

It's a beautiful cover guys from the arrangement and lovely sound scape,  to the vocals... simply brilliant.

Oh yeah, this is a winner!

What I appreciate the most is that you managed to keep the key elements of T's song alive, and yet still make it so very JK!!

Exceptional job to all of you!!

A beautiful tribute. I especially like all the little synth bits. They provide a bit of contrast to the wonderful guitars at just the right times.

Great song! Will have to go back and check out the original.  Very distinctively Greeny guitars, Flash bass and Geir vocals... and a respectful tribute with Tharek's song.  A golden effort!
Also love the splash/wash from the synth as it goes into the chorus.
