So now after nearly 5 months the house extension is all but finished and I have access to my guitars and recording equipment (hoo-f#cking-ray!).

So what I want to do is cover all four tracks of the Spiral Scratch EP.  Here's the first of them, which is also the first track on the EP itself.  I was always more of a Buzzcocks punk than Pistols.

It's not a punky cover, mind...

Hi Nick, wondered why you hadn't posted much recently. Good to hear some more of your work.
Not sure if its my laptop but it wouldn't play on the Songcrafter player but i followed the link and listened to it on Alonetone.
Was also a big Buzzcocks fan - still got the bootleg 'Best in Good Food' on vinyl with the orange A4 Xerox on the sleeve.  Not heard Breakdown for a long time - nice version and looking forward to the other 3 tracks.

Wow!! As a big Buzzcocks fan, I really like your version!! Works well on acoustic take and the tambourine sounds sooo good. Fine job on the vocals, too!!

Yea this is acoustasmatically rocktastic! Love it, never listened to The Buzzcocks but will listen to this many times. Has a bit of a Viloent Femmes feel to it I think!

Great cover guys. Really enjoyed it.

Never really listened to this band much - I liked the Stranglers more - but I've always loved and still love "Ever fallen in love?" - one of the greatest pop songs ever written in my humble opinion (although they were a punk band).
