this is such a beautiful cover , i listened to it first thing this morning before i went to work , and now I'm home and giving it another listen , I'm even more convinced that this is a gift from heaven , i will never tire of this cover , it is just the dogs back wheels , ken , you have surpassed yourself here , it is just so full of goodness and beauty , its like going back in time , but better , i am so happy with this song , thanks ken

Oh Wow! When I saw this I just knew - and I am not at all disappointed, you've exceeded my expectations.

You really do know how to do this. Harmonies, instrumentation, playing, recording, production. It has it all.

Well, I knew how this would turn out even before I pressed the play button, lol. And I was right! An absolutely stellar performance and production. It sounds (to me) like the Beatles doing a cover of it. A Strawberry Fields vibe in parts. You couldn't have done this any better, my friend. Those harmonies alone are to die for. And the harpiscord-sounding part is pure class.

The 'harpsichord sound' is actually an old acoustic guitar set up Nashville high-strung and capoed up to the 4th fret which puts it in an even higher register... then flat-picking single notes through the chords.

And hats off to Mick and Keith with probably a lot of uncredited help from Brian for inventing this great song, simultaneously a dirge and a celebration.
