Quote from: Rolow on July 07, 2012, 03:11:41 PMThere's a pureness to your voice that is calling me to checkout you jukebox too.

Hallelujah I was beginning to despair. I have a naturally very bright, pure tone which I used to maximum effect when I used to do 'proper' singing (4-part harmony a cappella). Not sure I've used it on sc yet though. I've only just got the hang of recording my vox with the BR which is why I was so pleased with this song, so most of my other recordings are a bit on the rough side (vox and guitar) but each week it's improving.

Thanks for the lovely comments Ron :)

Quote from: andy casson on July 06, 2012, 02:19:52 PMThe next time there is a live mic you and mr B are going to in Basingstoke let me know, and you might invite your hubby along just so I can put these songs into some perspective  :)

I don't think Bruno does them any more but best ask him on that one (either that or he's just avoiding me). I think it would be much better if we (Mr & Mrs F) came along to see you live Andy :) and I'll say it till I'm blue in the face - they are just songs but think what you like I'm going to sing them anyway!

I haven't Open Mike'd for some time - the one that Paul was running fell apart, I've not been to one. Not for any other reason than organisation (or lack of it). Keep meaning to go to the open mike in Winchester on Monday night, but never seem to time to get Mazz to practise (she's done her exams now). I'm not sure that I really like QMC that much, it is a little stiff and formal, and Sunday afternoon isn't a great day for me - other than that, the Open mike scene  in Basingstoke seems to have died a little. I really need to get my arse into gear!

That's cool Bruno, I really enjoy your recordings and let's face it there's only 24 hrs in a day.

Andy - I bet you do a killer version of Let it Be - if you ever get round to recording it, I'd love to hear it :)

Geez - first I hear "Sounds of Sirens" and then this????

Do I smell "ComedyFest II"?

Great parody Haylie. You've got a great voice (and a decent sense of humour by the sounds of it).

Cheers!
It ain't pretty being easy.
