Title Tracks

I came up with the name "Voodoo Smile" for my recent project, probably about a year ago and I've been racking my brain ever since, trying to come up with song worthy of the title.
Finally ideas started flowing and I've two versions of the song.

After a bit of research recently, it dawned on me that I didn't need a title track. I notice a lot album don't have title tracks.
The title represents the project as a whole.

Adele's = 21
Linkin Park's = Living Things
Bonnie Raitt's = Slipstream
and on and on.

Man, could have saved myself some headaches. 
But seriously, I rather enjoy a good title track.
If I purchase an album with an interesting title I'm hoping for an interesting title track.

The important thing is that it's a title that you like and means something to you. The title track doesn't always have to be the best / standout track on an album, but it's often important to the overall vibe / theme of the project.... an important foundation stone.

Anyway, I'd buy your album whatever it was called!

It was a wonderful test and an evaluable experience, writing the title track.
Thinking it had to be a kick ass track, of course now I know better.

But the conversation has gotten me thinking about the common thread or theme to the album.

Voodoo Smile is just a cool fuck n title. I thought it might draw attention the project, if I could write a song to match but I never thought of it as helping to tie it all together. interesting.
