I hadn't heard of this one before Gene sent it over but i soon got into it ...by a band White Heat who had a tragic end...i believe the lyrics were written by David Bowie's old mate Mick Ronson......The Music and Mix is all down to Gene ......and the warbling is down to me .......Thanks Gene

This song is by Ian hunter who is responsible for me being a musician as I learnt guitar etc by playing along to the live album Welcome to the club.He was the lead singer of Mott the hoople before going solo. His best friend and guitarist was the late great mick ronson(who was in Bowies spiders from mars)ronson is also the guy playing piano on perfect day from Lou reeds transformer album that he and Bowie produced. This song is always played at the beginning of his shows. A great song.

I experimented with eBand settings for the guitar rhythm track. I wanted the chords to ring and sustain, yet still retain good clarity.

I don't know if the BR devices share the same presets as the eBand but I think it might be a good guess that they do, being made by the same company.

Here are my settings.

        Preset: Tokyo Dreamland
         Drive : Hard
       Effects: Long - 70 percent
           Amp: Clean Twin
           Gain: 120
          Level: 36

Compression: On
       Sustain: 49
        Attack: 40
          Level: 50

Adjust various tone controls to suit your ear.
