This is wonderful songwriting. Real classic stuff, like in the 70's when songwriters really knew how to craft a tune. I agree with the need to bring the vocal up-front a bit, but those chord changes and your keyboard skills are both marvellous. Love it when it launches into the extended final part with those little piano runs. Great stuff.
