Here's one I just thought of:

GrumpyFest - Be a grumpy old fart and write a grumpy song about a pet peeve or anything that makes you feel angry or grumpy.

I think that could be fun, and a good way to vent some anger or frustration.

Victor would approve.

I prefer to call the Pachelbel festival (which is a better, more concise name) the Sensitive Female Chord Progression as named by Marc Hirsh.

Actually, the chord progressions used in "Four Chords" by Axis of Awesome (I–V–vi–IV or I–iii–vi–IV) and the Sensitive Female Chord Progression (vi–IV–I–V) are a bit simpler than Pachelbel's Canon which is an 8-chord progression (I-V-vi-iii-IV-I-IV-V) made up of 5 unique chords (I-iii-IV-V-vi).

In the key of D, the chords would be:

    "Four Chords":   D - A - Bm - G
                   ( I – V – vi – IV )

               or:   D - F#m - Bm - G
                   ( I – iii – vi – IV )

Sensitive Female
Chord Progression:   Bm - G - D - A
                   ( vi – IV – I – V)

Pachelbel's Canon:   D - A - Bm - F#m - G - D - G - A
                   ( I - V - vi - iii - IV - I - IV - V )
