Second Upload

Since that first upload was easy, I'll shoot another one. I have been a fanatic for 12 strings for years, got my first Fender 12 acoustic back in 1978. With the renewed interest in composing and recording, I needed a different tone that my BR-600 could not reproduce with the Fender. I purchased a Dean BOCA 12 string semi-hollow body at Guitar Center here in Houston. Then I needed a way to compare the sound and playing abilities for both 12's so I came up with this neat little instrumental called 12-String Fling (Dueling 12's seemed plageristic since dueling banjoes was already taken...) It's not the cleanest of playing jobs, I still need some polishing up and practice, but this came our pretty good, enjoy!

nicely done! I too have a bit of a thing for 12 strings, recently got a Fender Villager which I love! The kids now have my old Dean 12 string

Cool Idea for a song.Like Neil said, the hard pan of each guitar really let's you hear their characteristics. Is it Fender left channel, Dean right? I'm asking because I just bought a Fender 12 two months ago, and just put a LRBaggs soundhole pickup on it, and it's similiar sounding to me. And Congrats on getting some stuff uploaded here!

Thanks everybody for the rave reviews, it is appreciated! I also want to thank all who have assisted me in the "extensive..." learning process involved with the BR-600 over the last 6 months or so, not the easiest of instruction books I have ever read, but tolerable. Special thanks go to Geir and 64Guitar for their massive knowledge on these quality little recording machines and assistance rendered, thanks a ton! I'll keep hacking away at it and post a few more originals with vocals shortly. Happy composing and a hearty: Yehaa!
