wow...RIP sir... and I learned this from the you tube video that I didn't see here and this is a quote from Facemask:  "Blackbird played live into a BR-800 stereo mics."
To me that is an impressive recording.  I have never tried this method, of course my BR1600 don't have mics I know of... but my Zoom does...perhaps I shall have to try this...
