Redoing song in future, lost copy on soundcloud?

Nice cover Mojo. A lot of work has gone into this.
I suggest that the vox and the drums come up a little bit in the mix, there is a lot of reverb on both - so they are getting a little lost in the mix??

Very cool Mojo, heck of alot of time & effort went into this! Not familiar with the orig, sounds like pre- Metalllica Metallica album (I only know Sanitarium), but nice guitar tones, and I thought the mix was good (I am old and deaf tho)

Thanks Bruno for the critique, I reposted with some changes that reflect what you said. I didn't have any reverb on the drums originally but maybe during a bounce it got added? Anyhow I redid the rhythm track and added a little more eq to the bottom end. This new mic seems to be a little hot in the mids or something so i added a second vocal track under the mix, hope it sounds a little better but I don't think I can ever sing this song properly. (if anyone wants to redo the vox, i can provide my instrumental track).

Andy, this song is definately pre-Black Album Metallica it's from their second album, Ride the Lightning. I actually got this album on vinyl 3 days before it was officially released in 1984, as I was in good with the local record store. A couple days later I then took it to our city's university radio station (mostly punk) which had a 2 hour a week heavy metal show (as our commercial radio stations would at that time not play heavy metal) and they played the album in its entirety. Pretty cool at the time.
