Short piece - experimenting with the Monitor Speakers
Thought it was quite nice for a bit of pee-ing around - so worth a share!

DD - haha - yeah the monitors are lovely. I've always struggled with getting the sound of the guitar onto a recording. With the monitors - you can really hear the instrument and EQ it properly. I am more than happy with this purchase.

Andy - I really have no plans for this. I think I've been on a quest to find out how to get an acoustic guitar recorded - and spent a fortune in the process   I think the monitors were the final piece in the jigsaw, as you can really EQ the instrument properly, there appears to be a fine line between the sound being really booming and bass heavy, or being thin and scratchy. So, tube mike about 4 inches away from the 12 fret, and a touch on the bass and mid on the EQ was this one. Two mono guitar parts (picking and lead), fretless bass on keys, and a bell sound on keys.

I guess each wants something different in their mixes
