A good rocking band. This has always been one of my favorite tunes.

Thanks, Haylie, Alex.

I love this style of music. Nothing greatly intricate, just a hard driving pulse to it. Makes nice dance music.

Thank you, Rob.

In my opinion, rock music started on its down-hill spiral with the advent of punk and death metal.
The music lost its danceable pulse and frequently wandered off course. It was different, but not enjoyable.

It was at that time period when I stopped listening to the radio. Between the crappy music and the
annoying commercials, why bother. To this day there is no radio in my home. Everything is now done
on computers.

We need more bands like ZZ Top.

Always a lot of love in the room for ZZ Top.  One of my big influences for sure.  Great cover here, Gene, love that growling bass and synth.  And spot on guitars, goes without saying

They never went away, just released a new EP http://www.guitarworld.com/zz-top-release-four-song-ep-texicali.  Lot of their more recent stuff really kicks ass.  Check out Rhythmeen.

Is that really what he says? Must mean something different your side of the pond!

Can't miss the opportunity to plug my cover of TV Dinners from the same album.  One of my first posts here, if I remember rightly

Excellent cover of a classic, Gene!  I do miss the old bands, but I think there's good music being made all the time, sometimes it's just further underground than others.  I gave up on commercial radio a long time ago, for the same reasons you mention.  Tho there's some real good programs on satellite radio and on some NPR stations.  Remember Chuck Berry's best selling single was 'My Ding-a-Ling'!  Real hard to make good music and good money.  At least now we can share good music on sites like this.  DD

Thanks for listening!

Hi, Nick,
I trust life is treating you well.

Re: Legs.
The line, "She's got hair down to her fanny" means her hair is long enough to reach below her waist.
No Man's Land, if you will.

Now if her nose hair was that long I'd be real careful about hanging a lip-lock on her, if I was you.
No telling what lives in there.
