"Rosie" FREE BEER covers Jackson Brown

So I took a vacation with my family back to my old stomping grounds, Richmond, VA among other places. (side note, the trails aren't there anymore! see https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=14254 if your interested.)  So I caught up with an old high school friend, we'll call him Juice! Juice. He & I played music together for a good 10 years at least until I moved to FL. We once performed as a duo called FREE BEER, thinking people would flood in seeing the flyer FREE BEER at the NILE CAFE.....they did not! Regardless we had a great time then and we had a great time last week recording this. Juice is on piano and I'm playing Uke, that's done live; uke through the ps-02 into 004 &  piano(upright, slightly of of tune) through the 004 on board mic. I did a vocal mic that night using ps-02 as a mic. Today, at home I put a bass track, re did the vocals, mixed & mastered on my br-800. I used the new vocal from today and  original vocal on just the chorus as backup.
This is my favorite Jackson Brown song, played with my favorite musician!!!

Dude! Ass kicking vocals on this one! Glad you were able to play with your buddy and get a great recording out of it while on vacation. Juice ain't too shabby on the piano either!

The piano does need a tuning ( you use what's available!) but I really love that old west,saloon feel it gives.
Juice is quite the piano player, he has immersed himself in photography for the last few years, playing very little but hopefully our session has inspired him to get set up and collaborate with me some in the future!
