This is a cover I did of a song by(in my opinion) one of the best bands to come out of scotland.
I put a different slant on it by sticking a lead guitar in and a bit of sequencer at the start but
tried to keep the vocal line true to the original.
It has many good memories for me growing up in glasgow and I hope I dont annoy any blue nile fans out there.

One of my favourite Blue Nile tracks and this is an interesting take. I was surprised that it works with a fuller instrumentation and a 'rocked up' feel but it works very well indeed.

possibly my favourite blue nile track, used to go into bonkers on hope street on a friday night after work, walk in the door and the deejay would put that on and hand me the mic and i'd sing along to it. couldn't hit those notes now though.

was walking up byres road early this evening with my wife and daughter.

paul buchanan was outside a coffee shop having his coffee alfresco. i said hi and we shook hands firmly then i gibbered like a small child for a bit.
