Wanted to get one more out before I disappear on vacation. I stumbled on this henwrench post here https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=7444.0 and there's quite an interesting jukebox of different lyrics to this one and I just had to jump on the bandwagon. I've been sitting on this track for a few weeks now waiting for it to pop into my head and it sure enough did this morning driving to work. I recorded these 3 vocal tracks in my car this morning using the ps-02 as a vocal mic into the 004. Mixed at home on my br900. Thanks for the challenge henwrench it was lots of fun!! I'll catch up with everyone in June!
The Life Of A Bubble
music written & performed by henwrench
lyrics written & sung by Hook
These are my boundaries, I've drawn these curved lines
A strategic position to defend what is mine

Firm in belief, perhaps it's just mine
Seek out the truth, believe what you find
A grain of salt, one sand of time
I am no more than the life of a bubble

Spectacular views of other stories told
A concave lens leaves more to behold

       Chorus

People seeking other people
Seeking out other people
To join the seeking of the people
That seek to bring the people
To the other seeking people

       Chorus

I ain't tellin' you no lie
The hook brings you back

Man, you sound like Ian Curtis to me here, its like listening to a lost Joy Division track, spooky man, spooky.

Very cool vox. Really hearing Stan Ridgeway in your delivery but that chorus is pure Flight of The Conchords and I like that.
