 Nice one! The mix sounds great to me. When I listened to it the first time, I thought the bass could be brought up a bit, but upon a second listen I think it’s great just the way it is.

There is nowt wrong with this mix as far as my aging ears can tell either, sounds great to me! I don't know the original but enjoyed the listen, and your vocal is excellent
