*DISTANT SUN* - Crowded House cover by Burtog

[Burtog]

This is a cover I've been working on for a few nights but I have had massive problems with the mixing, i just cant get it right, the bass is terrible and the track sounds flat whatever I do.

I'm a bit unhappy with the outcome but still thought I would post.

The wave converter is killing my mix,.......................does anyone else have this problem? I can get the song to sound great on the BR800.

Nowt wrong with this mix to my aged ears , in fact i love it , the vocal is fab & the instrumentation is sounding oh so good , great cover Burtog , i really enjoyed it

I dig it Burtog! Sounds real good on my crappy computer speakers, you got alot going on but it's very fluid and complementing. Impressive cover of such a good song!

Only thing that I can comment upon is that the acoustic may benefit a little bit of 'air' 

That may give you the lift that you're looking for. This is impressively done and it's a great track.

bin trying to listen to this all week but soundcard on my pc is farked. finally got the chance today. loving it ,,,,,,,,, great version, forgot how immense crowded house and split enz where.

Great stuff,The mix sounds fine,sometimes you can go over and over a song and to the ears thats been listening to it from the start, you can convince yourself this is wrong or that.
The main thing is the music and the vocals are great so nice one.
