This is re-recording of a song I wrote back in the 90's, about a father's pain at seeing his daughter grow up

I did search and found a beautiful song !! Great work Nick. Love the intimate vocals and the change in the middle. Has a kinda Lennon feel to it, which is a good thing in my book !

I always liked this quote from Bill Cosby's "Bill's Two Daughters" track on the "For Adults Only" album. He talks about how his daughters are growing up and any guys that want to get to them are going to have to get past him first.

"Soon they're going to be hittin' on them, and I'm beginning to hate men, 'cause I know men. They're basically filthy and nasty and dirty. I know that. See, I used to be a man before I got married!"

Great song. All fathers of daughters must go through this. I'd not change my daughter one bit though.
