In 1978 I used to sneak in underage to watch this band play at The Cedar Lounge and drink 25 cent draft beers. Great fun back then. This song was voted the number one Canadian song in 1996 ahead of The Guess Who and even Neil Young. In 2000 it was still in the top ten at number seven. This was a fun song to cover, pure original punk, 3 chords and lots of angst.  The electric version is at the bottom of the page.

Hey Martin, I don't know the original either, but I enjoyed this one, checked out your accoustic and the original link, really took me back to the late 70's, has a real undertones/stranglers anger and angst about it!
