Sometimes you can say it best in a song...

Les Paul, Bass, Strings, Vocals - all on the MBR.

Lyrics:

faith comes in many guises
but the one we need is love
a love to light the darkness for someone

sometimes it's easy to give up
and think there's no point going on
but don't forget the beautiful things you've done

and you will find the strength from somewhere
unlikely as that seems
and you will find the strength from somewhere
a life-raft in a lonely sea

as we move along the road
we won't forget what's gone before
and how we helped each other through the storm

sometimes it's easy to give up
and think there's no point going on
but don't forget the beautiful things you've done

and you will find the strength from somewhere
unlikely as that seems
and you will find the strength from somewhere
a life-raft in a lonely sea

Wonderful full, crisp production here.  Your solo sounds positively modal, I love it.  Deep sentiments.

Wonderful song here Tim with amazing lyrics and a real heartfelt sentiment. Beautiful arrangement with great use of the strings to complement the guitars. A really positive and uplifting song for times of adversity.

Cheers,

Nigel

Your melody is original, well find an done!!!
At some points, the superb arrangements and chord progression reminds me a Steely Dan / Donald Fagen -Walter Becker art of composition...  (A true compliment ;-)   )
Cool sounds of guitar and strings to complement the guitar!

Great sound and composition, but the best in this song is the positive message.

Nice one Tim. You hit the mark.

Fantastic all round. Love the bass runs.
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different

This is a excellent original from the verses to the delayed guitars. I was really grooving on the bass runs they really anchored the song
