Hook

Very interesting Vaisvil, I'll have to give it another listen. I had some friends, years ago, who studied composition at VCU under/w Dika Newlin (crazy lady) who was one of the last surviving students of Schoenberg, regardless, I went to many recitals and concerts, including a bit of micro-tonal music. I was always intrigued at how disjointed it might be one minute and then how fluid it seemed to become. I guess I wondered, and still do perhaps, if it's the music that's becoming more fluid or our acceptance of the disjointedness over it's course. It's most likely a bit of both. I really like how this piece challenges you (me) right from the beginning and gives some mighty impressive pay offs throughout. Very cool!
Rock on!
