Bruno... I can appreciate this track big time... and to put it together the way you've explained is mind blowing to me. I've tried this method on the Kaossilator and it takes forever... It's amazing you got through this in just 3 hours putting tracks down... That's a feat in itself. I absolutely love this one buddy!!! Great job!!!

Yeah Bruno, I really like this.  Thats a very modal sounding synth lead line there, very Phrygian of you.......damn fine sounds here.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Thanks guys -

Tod, as you know - I use a KO as well, however despite it being very easy to play, its incredibly difficult to control. So to try an play something over a long period of a song would be tough. Where as playing keys is actually quite straight forward - as long as you don't try and do too much at once - so use lots of tracks. I did think of using the KO for the lead line - but had the keys plugged in - and I am generally quite lazy :-)

BB - haha, yes scales - I must admit to liking the Phrygian scale - being a child of Blackmore. I remember Jon Lord & Deep Purple did a synth piece on the album Burn (A'200 - just looked it up) - which I loved to bits as a teen - it was the first proper synth piece that I'd ever heard - and it totally floored me. These days, it doesn't sound like much, but at the time and in context of the other sounds at the time  .... its was WOW, rewind the cassette, WOW, rewind .....

One last thing to add, I actually think doing it this way avoids the drum-machininess in the overall sound, as there  is less and perfect timing on all 4 drum tracks - but that actually makes it more interesting I think. If you listen to just the drum tracks in isolation, its wandering all over!
